My name is Ramiro Silva
For over two decades, I served in the U.S. Army, leading teams and tackling challenges that demanded focus, resilience, and creativity under pressure. Those same values now guide me on a new path—graphic design. At Aurora University, I’m learning to communicate through color, shape, and form instead of commands and strategy. Every project is a chance to tell a story, solve a problem, or inspire emotion. My goal is simple: to create designs that make an impact and reflect the same dedication that defined my military career. Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, I now call Illinois home with my wife Michelle, our son Derick, daughter Gabby, and our lively crew of pets—two Labs (Buddy and Bella), a Chihuahua (Coco-Mare), and two cats (JB and Blaze). When I’m not designing, you’ll find me kayaking, fishing, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or out on the open road with my Harley.
